Pearly penile papules are small bumps that ring the rim of the penis head. They are usually a little lighter than the skin and form rows just like a string of pearls. The papules may increase your penis sensitivity during erection, so they may make you feel very uncomfortable during your sexual activity.
The bumps affect most of the men between 20-30 and most of the uncircumcised man so they are very common. Most of the men don’t pay attention to them but if they bother you should see a doctor. It is very important not to pick at them in any way because you risk to provoke a serious infection. In most of the cases the pearly penile papules appear and disappear on their own.
